I spoke with a client yesterday. He called me because he had some questions about setting up Nevada series LLC’s. So I am explaining to him what a series LLC is and what Nevada has to offer with these. He keeps telling me that someone told him for $2985 he could have 150 to 200 NV series LLC’s, which by the way, will not happen.
After some prodding, I find out that he has ordered the Jeff Paul system, and paid them already $4500. He was supposed to get 9 weeks training and all these websites where he can sell stuff and that they will direct traffic to these websites in the amount of 250,000 hits per month.
Once he says Jeff Paul, I type it into search, and I find many websites calling it a scam. Does it sound great? Sure, but let me assure any readers, that there are plenty of home based opportunities out there that don’t ask for thousands of dollars up front.
Anytime something sounds too good to be true, the first place I check is the ripoff report. They don’t have any authority to change anything, but in looking up this company I see complaints as far back as 11/2002. In 2007, Jeff Paul claims to revamp the company and have better control over the issues people are having and ripoff report believe him, but I don’t. It took 5 years to do anything, and then when discussing this with my client, it seems that the Nevada LLC thing is a new scam, as Nevada has only had the series LLC’s for the last year or year and a half.
